NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme, also known as NTR Bharosa Pension Pathakam పింఛను, is a welfare pension scheme launched by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The official website of the organization is called sspensions https://sspensions.ap.gov.in/. It is a Social Welfare Program that provides financial support to the vulnerable and economically weaker sections of society. Resident of Andhra Pradesh, like Senior Citizens, Disabled Persons, Widows, Weavers, Fishermen, Single Women, etc. The NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme was reintroduced in June 2024 under the leadership of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. The scheme was upgraded with new features, and earlier, the scheme’s name was the YSR Kanuka Pension Scheme. Later, after Chandrababu became the Chief Minister, the NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme was named. Now, the scheme is increasing payout and improving the distribution System.

NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme Eligibility Criteria

The Pension is disbursed directly into the beneficiary’s bank account, ensuring transparency and efficiency. More than 60 lakh people are benefiting in Andhra Pradesh under this NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme, and it is managed and operated through the Society for Social Pensions SSP Portal.

This scheme helps families below the poverty line. 

In rural areas, the family income does not exceed 10,000/month.

In Urban areas, the family income does not exceed 12,000/month.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligible person must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh. 

Have BPL Family Proof (ration or income proof)

The eligible person must not be employed in any government job and must not receive other pension schemes.

The applicants should not own large land properties or commercial buildings.

Income Tax Payers, Government employees, or Government Officials are not eligible to apply to this scheme.

The applicants must meet the government conditions.

How to Apply for NTR Bharosa Scheme (పింఛను)

Eligible applicants should download the NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme application from the Andhra Pradesh Government website abdg.aptonline.in/SSP OR sspensions.ap.gov.in/SSP. They can also visit the Navasakam Beneficiary Management Portal page NBM Login to download the application form under the NTR Bharosa Section.

After downloading the application form, fill in the appropriate details, such as Name, house address, and other personal information.

Submit the Ration Card, Aadhar card number, PAN Card Number, and Bank Account Details.

Submit Disability Certificate for a physically challenged person, a Death Certificate for a widow.

Submit the application form and certificates to your local Gram/ward Secretariat, or Municipal Office.

Government officials will inquire about the applicants’ details and approve the applications. This process will take at least 15-20 days.

After the Verification is done, the Pension is credited directly to the beneficiary’s bank account every month.

SSPensions – SSP Portal

The SSPensions is a web portal launched by the Andhra Pradesh Government to distribute pensions through this portal. The SSPensions is also known as NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme, which the Government of Andhra Pradesh runs to financially support vulnerable groups like widows, disabled individuals, senior citizens, and other marginalised communities. 
SSPensions regularly monitors and helps the beneficiaries through sspensions.ap.gov.in. It is managed through the Society for Social Pensions (SSP) and distributes Pensions via direct bank transfers to eligible persons. The SSP Portal receives Pension applications from Residents of Andhra Pradesh.

The primary use is to ensure a regular income for basic needs and to reduce financial dependency. The SSP Portal ensures transparent pension distribution and will pay eligible recipients the pension amount on time.
